TREASURE BONUS is activated whenever the ‘Gold Of Roma' symbol appears simultaneously on the 1 st and 5 th reels. A 5-row, 6-column grid of squares opens on the bonus screen. The player has the chance to select 1 out of 6 tiles on each row. If the ‘Gladiator' symbol is under the selected tile, the win of the entire row is added up. The player continues selecting tiles until he/she stumbles upon the ‘Collect' symbol or reaches the ‘Treasure'. If the player reaches the top, the wins from every row are added up, however if the player comes across the ‘Collect' symbol, only the values opened up to that point are awarded and the player is deprived of the chance to continue to the top.
