EGT successfully completed the procedure of testing of its Vega Vision® gaming machine for compliance with the particular applicable European Directives: Low Voltage Directive and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive. Hence the company was granted the right to sell the latter on the European market.

The testing process was undertaken by Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ) - an internationally recognized testing and certification body. A software evaluation was undertaken also by the SIQ specialists. Certificates of Conformity were issued on 29th of February 2008 certifying that gaming software for Vega Vision® Series complies with regulations and technical specifications of the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia.

Having successfully completed the compliance evaluation process of its Classic Blend product series, EGT was granted the right to distribute the latter within the Macau jurisdiction. The recommendation for approval was issued by Technical Systems Testing (TST) - an internationally recognized Accredited Testing Facility, which works closely with industry operators, suppliers, manufacturers and regulators to ensure that gambling products meet best practice industry standards and comply with some of the world's most stringent and comprehensive legislative and regulatory requirements.

The TST specialists evaluated components of Classic Blend Series as complying with the generally accepted industry standards for highly regulated jurisdictions, with GLI’s GLI11 – Gaming device in casino, Version 2.0, 20 April 2007, and with EGT’s technical specifications for Classic Blend Series Electronic Gaming Machine.

The testing was performed in the beginning of June 2007, and soon after the official certification was obtained the company signed its first deal in Macao. Ten gaming machines connected in a local network with a Classic Blend Jackpot system are about to be installed in a casino of company SJM, owned by Stanley Ho.

The first installation of EGT gaming machines in Venezuela was successfully completed in the end of May this year. 18 Classic Blend® machines, connected to Classic Blend® Jackpot System were installed in Roraima Inn, a top-class casino.

The seven games of this series and a 32” Classic Blend ® jackpot board are located in the centre of the hall, right against the entrance. As Classic Blend® Jackpot System is the only network of such kind in the casino, the interest to it and to the games is huge.
